FVN EHF's PRIVACY POLICY
In the privacy policy of FVN ehf. states the purpose for which personal information is collected and how such data is handled.
1. GENERAL
FVN ehf is the owner of Nútrí Acaí Bar and consequently the website www.nutri.is
FVN ehf. is concerned about the privacy of its customers and employees. This policy covers personal information whether it is collected and stored electronically, on paper or in other similar ways. The policy covers the registration, storage and processing of personal information covered by the policy.
2. PRIVACY LEGISLATION
The processing of personal data is governed by the Act on Personal Data Protection and the Processing of Personal Data as it stands at any given time. The law covers, among other things, the processing, storage and dissemination of personal information.
3. WARRANTY
FVN ehf is responsible for the processing of personal information that takes place at the company. All processing of personal information by the company is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Act at any given time.
4. COLLECTION AND USE
FVN ehf. collects and processes personally identifiable information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection and Processing Act. The personal information that FVN ehf. collects and works with come almost exclusively from customers or employees of the company but can also originate in public registers such as the National Registry. FVN ehf. emphasizes in all cases that the personal information is sufficient, relevant and not in excess of what is necessary for the purpose of the processing.
The main personal information that FVN ehf. collects and the purpose of their processing is as follows:
Mailing lists
If an individual has requested to be registered on the FVN ehf mailing list (www.nutri.is). In order to receive information about products and services, the information is the name and e-mail address of the individual in question.
2. THIRD PARTY
The privacy policy does not cover information or processing by third parties that FVN ehf. has no control over or is responsible for their use, disclosure or other actions. FVN ehf. encourages individuals to familiarize themselves with the privacy policies of others, e.g. á m. the web hosting providers of the sites that may refer to FVN ehf., software companies such as Facebook, Apple, Google and Microsoft as well as possible payment services that may be used.
3. SECURITY
FVN ehf. places great emphasis on the security of the processing of personal data and therefore has an internal control system in place to ensure that appropriate technical and organizational security measures are always taken.
In the event of a security breach in the processing of personal data, where it is confirmed or suspected that personal data has fallen into the hands of an unauthorized party, the Data Protection Authority and, as the case may be, individuals are notified of a security breach unless it entails great risk for individuals.
Attention is drawn, however, to the fact that individuals are responsible for personal information, such as name, ID number and photo, which they choose to share or send in a public forum, for example through the social media of FVN ehf.
4. PRESERVATION
FVN ehf. only stores personal information about individuals for as long as is necessary and in accordance with the purpose for which it was collected, including in order to fulfill legal and accounting obligations. In assessing the appropriate retention period for personal information, FVN ehf. based on the scope, type and nature of the information in question, the risk of unauthorized access to it or using it in an unauthorized manner, the purpose for which FVN ehf. processes the personal information and whether FVN ehf. can achieve the same purpose by other means, as well as the relevant legal requirements as appropriate. The company reviews all processing of personal information every two years and reviews whether it is permitted to continue to store information related to the processing in question.
5. RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS
In the event of a dispute regarding the handling of personal information, it is possible to send a complaint to the Data Protection Authority, for example by sending an e-mail to postur@personuvernd.is
